Founded and monetized CBMX (Nasdaq), early team member and founder of companies in the energy technology, biotechnology and cryptocurrency ecosystems. Dr. Montgomery has raised over $100M aggregate funding for previous companies. Ph.D. in chemistry from Caltech with post-graduate experience in all-optical processing and nonlinear optics.

Jeff brings over 25 years of legal experience as a litigator trained in intellectual property and a general counsel for public corporations. Was general counsel of CBMX and took it public. Took SRNE public onto the NASDAQ. Experienced in patent post-grant PTAB procedures and European oppositions. Undergrad in chemistry at Johns Hopkins and a Ph.D. in pharmacology at Penn.

Research & development scientist at CombiMatrix Corporation and NDCPower. Chris has an entrepreneurial background and software development experience, including nascent Blockchain technologies and their novel use as digital assets.

JAMES O'MALLEY

Director of Technology

James brings 8+ years industrial experience in hands-on technical product research and development. He fosters a strong passion for clean energy technologies, and excels at technical innovation and team-oriented problem solving. After graduating college in 2012, James accepted a research position at nanoMaterials Discovery Corporation, and was soon-after selected to lead the technical research effort surrounding direct alkaline ethanol fuel cells. James holds a B.S. in Chemistry (concentration in Materials Chemistry) from University of California, Berkeley.
